Christopher Rokku Coates: At young age Christopher was fascinated by Disney animations like Pete’s Dragon, and mickey mouse. Watching the characters come to life on the screen and on the page, he found himself inspired. Over the years Chris grew as an artist; he entered local contests and showcases. Funding each project himself through odd jobs, selling candy to his friends, and eventually selling small pieces of artwork at local skateboard shops. Chris developed a keen eye for design and trends, landing his first job at Design Werks. Specializing in events, Chris created many beautiful pieces for the state of Utah. This threw him forward into the art world. He then began working with Activision in the late 2000s , working on major titles such as Guitar Hero and Spider-man. From there he spent the next decade sharpening his skill as a freelance artist in the comic book convention industry. Claiming infamy with the only game accurate prop inspired foam Master Sword, and Link hats, form the Legend of Zelda video game series. As well as, creating countless pieces of commission work, comic book art, and original paintings.
