Dietrich Smith is an illustrator and designer with work spanning in the field of comics for two decades. He studied at the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University before becoming an Extreme Studios intern in the wild Image 90’s. In the years that followed, he branched from comic books to TV animation as well as becoming involved in advertising, conceptual design and children’s books. He’s illustrated a variety of iconic characters such as Superman, Spiderman, Shaft, Hercules, Battlestar Galactica, Army of Darkness, and a bevy others. Along the way projects he’s contributed to have been nominated for various honors and recent title Victor LaValle’s Destroyer was bestowed the Bram Stoker award for superior achievement in a graphic novel. He’s currently working on Indie books Prey for the Sinner, EliteWare, and a soon to be announced creator-owned comic.
