Mike MacLean

A lifelong comic book fan, Mike MacLean co-writes Lady Death, La Muerta, and Hellwitch, with the infamous Brian Pulido, founder of Coffin Comics (The number one outlaw comic company!). Mike is also the screenwriter behind the hit Syfy movies Sharktopus, Piranhaconda, and Dinocroc vs. Supergator, all produced by the legendary Hollywood rebel Roger Corman. In addition to creature features, Mike wrote the raunchy comedy Attack of the 50ft Cheerleader and the military thriller Operation Rogue.

Mike’s other credits include a slew bone-breaking crime stories that have bloodied the pages of The Best American Mystery Stories, Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, and Thug Lit.

A teacher by day, Mike was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona. He still lives there today with his lovely wife, two rambunctious daughters, and a pair of exasperating dogs.
