Danny Elfman is an American composer, singer, songwriter, and musician known for his darkly whimsical film scores, TV themes, and work as frontman of Oingo Boingo. He has composed over 100 feature scores, including collaborations with Tim Burton like Batman, Edward Scissorhands, and The Nightmare Before Christmas, for which he sang Jack Skellington’s songs. His iconic themes include The Simpsons and he has earned 4 Oscar nominations, 3 Emmys, a Grammy, and a Disney Legend Award.
