About:
Austin Ackert is a Cartoonist and Indie Comic creator hailing from Arizona. With a style all his own, his influences range from Jhonen Vasquez and Moebius to Big Daddy Roth and Robert Crumb. Austin is one of the main artists on the Tremors Comic Anthology published by Aequitas Comics and based off of the Cult Classic Film. He has also had his chromatic drawings featured on several sketch card series from Upper Deck. He is the main artist for the Adventures of Gabes Cave series, is one of the artists in the Prismatic Anthology written by Eric Williamson, and has had his art in several zines all across the world including the biggest zine ever made, Wizerd Megazine by Cosmic Lion Productions. Austin also has his own self published comic that he wrote and drew called Carmine Sunshine.
