John Anthony Chihak Soltero is the creator of The Bubba Patrol and Welcome to Pleasant Falls. Known to some as JACS, John is the creator of the fan-favorite all-ages comic The Bubba Patrol, a nostalgic throwback to the Bronze and Silver Ages of comics that blends themes of love, friendship, and hope with lighthearted adventure and a cast of super-powered pups. John has also worked on a range of self-published titles including Youth in Asia, Fuzzyface, and The Book of Grrry. He contributed to Volume One of Unite and Take Over: Comic Book Stories Inspired by Songs of The Smiths, and has provided design work and illustrations for the children’s book The Boy Who Didn’t Like Bananas.
