Amanda Conner is best known for her standout cover work for Harris Comics and DC Comics, as well as co-writing DC’s Harley Quinn and Starfire series and providing interior art for Power Girl. Widely recognized for her energetic, expressive style, Conner’s credits include Lois Lane, Birds of Prey, and Codename: Knockout for DC; X-Men Unlimited for Marvel; Gatecrasher for Black Bull Comics, which she co-created; and The Pro, the Eisner-nominated creator-owned series for Image Comics with Jimmy Palmiotti and Garth Ennis. She also illustrated the acclaimed Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre with Eisner Award–winning creator Darwyn Cooke. Beyond comics, her work has appeared on ABC’s Nightline, in The New York Times and MAD Magazine, and in campaigns for Arm & Hammer, Playskool, and Nickelodeon. Her artwork was also featured in multiple episodes of CBS’s award-winning comedy The Big Bang Theory.
