Doug Wagner is an American comic book writer best known for blending dark comedy, horror, and psychological thrills into critically acclaimed creator-owned comics. His work for Image Comics includes Plastic, co-created with Daniel Hillyard, along with The Hard Place, Gun Candy, The Ride, Plush, Vinyl, Narco, and I Was a Fashion School Serial Killer. His stories are known for their sharp humor, twisted characters, and inventive storytelling that push genre boundaries.
Beyond creator-owned comics, Doug has written for major publishers and entertainment companies including DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Blizzard Entertainment, Dark Horse Comics, Warner Bros.
