We're your local, homegrown convention... with the silly, quirky name.
Originally founded in 2002 as Phoenix Cactus Comicon we've been around for over twenty years providing Phoenix with its annual, signature pop culture convention.
Enjoy more than 600+ hours of events like Q&As, Photo Ops, Costume Contests, Fan Panels, Workshops, Gaming Tournaments, and so much more.

EXHIBIT HALL & HALL OF HEROES
Our Exhibit Hall & Hall of Heroes is where you will find over 600+ vendors, artists, creators, dealers, publishers, along with ALL of our invited Celebrity Actors, Comic Book Creators, Authors, Cosplay Guests, and Charity or Community Costume Groups.

Your badge provides you with in-and-out access throughout the weekend (Full Event) or for the specific day you purchase (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
You'll find all of this in the Lower Level Exhibit Halls 1-6.

GUESTS
Every year we feature a great lineup of Comic Book Creators, Authors, Cosplay Guests, YouTube Creators, and yes, Celebrity Actors!
All are available for autographs or photo ops*, and many participate in panels throughout the weekend. You can attend their panels for free with your badge purchase.
We book different guests each year, so make sure to attend if there are guests you wish to meet, as they may not return in future years.
You'll find guests for autographs or photo ops in the Lower Level Exhibit Halls 1-6. Check each guest bio as they may have specific days or hours of attendance.

COSTUMES
Costuming and Cosplay are central to most comic book and pop culture conventions and Phoenix Fan Fusion welcomes cosplayers of all kinds. From novice to expert to professional, costumes are a big part of our show.
​
You should expect to see lots of popular characters from comic books, movies, and TV shows. And many of our cosplayers are welcome to taking photos with you; simply ask prior to taking a photo and remember that "Cosplay is not consent".
Phoenix Fan Fusion is a family-friendly show and we operate within the Phoenix Convention Center, so we have specific rules about costumes and safety practices that limit some costuming props. Be sure to check our Costume and Prop Guide here.
GAMING HALL
Gaming in all its forms has been a focus of our convention for over fifteen years. Spend time and play to your heart's content and meet new gamers to game with. Plus check out our additional Gaming Rooms. We feature:

Your badge provides you in-and-out access to our Gaming Hall and all Gaming Rooms. Game play is free, except for select tournaments or booster drafts that may have a fee.

The Gaming Hall is in Ballroom 120AB.

CELEBRITY PANEL Q&As
A true highlight is joining our celebrity actors for their panel and Q&A, which are included in your badge purchase without any additional cost*.
These panels typically run 45 minutes to an hour, and provide a chance for YOU to ask your hero a question**.
Be in the room as they share incredible stories from their film and TV career as they created your favorite onscreen characters and stories.
Actors rarely have more than one panel for the weekend even if they attend multiple days. Be sure to check their panel schedule so you don't miss out [Celebrity Panel schedule is posted May 1].

Kids Activity Rooms
A special place for kids and sidekicks to go for free play activities, coloring and drawing, and so much more.

We feature a dedicated Lego Building Room, with Lego Free Build, Lego Build-Off Contests, and more Lego-inspired activities.

When you wish upon a star... magical things happen! Disney inspires the child in our lives and the child within heroes and princesses that drive our imaginations and dreams. Join the Disney Fashion Pageant, Disney Sing-a-long, and Dancing with the Disney Princess Stars.

There is no shortage of family-friendly events from the biggest movie blockbusters in all of geekdom. Join the ASU Quidditch team to see who will take home the House Cup, brush up on your lightsaber technique at Younglins Saber Training, and perfect your superhero moves at Superhero Sidekick Training.
