Lauren, aka Dressesandcapes, is an award-winning cosplayer and content creator. She is a self-taught sewist who began making her own cosplays and designs on a pure creative whim. Her passion for sewing and creating led her to win several cosplay competitions including Best in Show at Wondercon, as well as judge at one of the biggest cosplay competitions, Emerald City Comic Con. She has also worked with major brands, like Joann’s and Disney to create cosplays and looks based on some of the most popular IP. Her main goal is to inspire others to create for themselves, and she believes that sometimes you just need a little push to start creating yourself.
